The Nikon D40 was the DSLR that convinced me to make the switch from film to digital.I loved the bright punchy colors and the excellent low light images it could produce. Great sensor in that camera!
Excellent tips here! I plan to use this info right away in my outdoor macro photography. Thanks!
The X-51 looks like a baby hippo when compared to the svelte X-10 and X100 . . . why is it so ugly?
Fascinating work and a unique eye. Thanks dpreview for a great article on a fascinating artist!
The closeness of war to the lives of people in this photo is well captured. It is a bit disturbing as well to know that people must live in such a potentially destructive environment. Children should not grow up this way. Powerful photo!
This reminds me of the soft morning colors Tim Fitzharris often gets in his landscapes. The light and color really beckons in this photo, wonderful!
A wonderful photo indeed and worthy winner. Beautifully composed and a reflection of your expertise with your equipment and eye.
Kind Regards,
Donald
