Hugh2017: The only way to truly test this as a end user is either you buy every camera body (makes no sense) or rent.
Information is good, overload in the general sense not so much.

A working Pro making money with photography wants to see the same situation say a wedding shot with the DSLR set up from camera, lens, lighting to Fuji X or other mirrorless
I still do not know any working photographers that will stake their reputation and trust a Fuji X or Micro 4/3's camera to shoot certain types of photography.

I have to have a system with a good Flash for events,be able to control the flash from my camera body, use radio slaves. I must be able to use external battery packs for the system flash.
The new Fuji flash needs to be able to take take accessories like the Nikon SB-910 does like the included Gels are so nice plus diffuser. You used to have to buy a product like the Stolen-Omni Bounce for your Flash and Nikon includes this type of product, Cant speak for Canon, not a Canon shooter.

They may not look at files at 400% but you better make sure they can print large. the Panasonic FZ-1000 that I did own for maybe 2 weeks and returned thinking it better than the Sony option was a absolute Terrible camera when it came to stills, just unusable the sensor is too small. Video side of the Panasonic was good no complaints . I shot Panasonic MFT's after the Nikon D90 selling it back then so it was disappointing to see the FZ-1000 just sucks . Shot the GF-1, GX-1 and GH-3 with all Panasonic lenses it was ok till I saw what Fuji X had that was until requirements changed and I needed a DSLR again. The Panny FZ-1000 will not give tack sharp images even at 100% like the Sony RX-10 ii can do and for that matter I had the Panasonic LX-100 that did a good job as well. No way I would use these P&S cameras for work

Fuji should concentrate on how to get that X camera DLSR like. The lines should be blurred to the point that even if you had Nikon D5 or Canon 1Dx money you would still buy a mirrorless camera. Photographers that shoot fashion week, ones that shoot major league / professional sports etc..

Fuji X is a good system but if they can take a Nikon DSLR pull the mirror out and make it a Fuji X camera is that even possible and if it was why is Nikon or Canon not doing it, like yesterday.

I hate the DSLR but not many if any options when you need that performance.

Sony is a TV manufacture that is all they are. A big gimmick

Nikon and Canon are true camera manufactures

50 mm x 1.5 = 75 mm and so forth. Call it closer to 75-210 mm 2.8 Same if the Nikon D500 had a 50-140 same thing

Stephan Def: It will be interesting to see how prices develop in the next couple of months for the x-t1 and the xt-10. It looks like they are trying to sell out the x-t1 with their cashback program that is currently going on.

Fuji always has a cash back program they run a few times a year. Even the xt-2 will go on rebate.
