Claude, as others have said, it's a nice lens optically. It is slow to focus and whines a bit, but it is accurate and sharp. I now have the 28-105, so I go to it when i want the 100mm focal length ...

That'd be great, if true. What's not to like--10 fps, 4k video, ISO 50, 90 focus points w/36 x-points, etc.? But, would it be worthy of a launch price of $2100? Maybe! Seems fake, though. Thanks ...
