The old XF35 F1.4R is a really good lenses, providing sharp image at very reasonable price despite the old AF.
Even though it is 8 years old, I have no intention to sell it or replace it.
And I still recommend this to new Fuji users, unless they shoot video primarily.

Many people still bargain that m43 still have its place.
But in reality the market does not lie. In fact camera market has been shrinking due to the smartphones, in particular m43 is seriously affected.
Companies cannot survive with continuous losses.
I can see that more camera companies will follow afterwards.

Nowadays taking photos is way too easy.
We can see more people will shoot films as enjoyable experience.
Film cameras will become collectables in the future.
However I really suggest to get a full manual / mechanical camera (e.g. AE-1, K1000)
As time passes, these cameras will be just as fine as today.

But they always ignored the market data, which always shuts them up

@DtBB
This is exactly what I like to point out.
Many people think McDonald is good.
Many listeners like Taylor Swift's voice.
And TRUMP is bxllshit, but he won the election anyway.
Maybe it is not your favorite, but please respect the majority.

Just take the Vertical Grip!!

think about it deeply, if you really to monitor the sound with headphone jack, it is very likely that it is not Vlogging and putting a grip is just reasonable.

@TunicaAdventitia & @vscd
To be honest, I am very delighted that Canon can produce such camera to lift up the standard of the entire market.
But rumors kept saying Canon did something and most of them are just really rumors...

$1800...
Get an A7III instead.
You can get A6600 or X-T3 with similar body size but a bigger sensor at cheaper price.

Why so much hate on the LCD screen design?
If you don't like it, you can choose X-T3 (for same performance), OR the X-E3 / X-E4 (for rangefinder look with normal LCD)
It is THAT simple!!!
Fujifilm does a good job to distinguish the X-Pro line from the others!!

So APS-C warfare starts again !?
I thought Nikon will ditch APS-C and focus in mirrorless FF.
To be honest, you will need to produce APS-C lenses as well.
The current lineup does not attract customers to buy, unless a good adapter to DX lenses will be available.

This is the first time I don't feel excited about Sony camera announcement :(
It is more like a firmware update.

CaptainNoddy: The HUGE and FULLY ARTICULATING screen is really NEEDED for other Fuji Cameras!!

@John Bean(UK) I agree it should have choices, but all non-low ended Fuji cameras (ALL X100, X-E, X-T, X-H, X-Pro series) have no articulating screen for me to choose..... It is rather important for vlogging and video work.

I have many friends who are Full Frame defenders and always encourage me to dump my APS-C cameras.
They used FF cameras that are >40MP and they PIXEL PEEP a lot in my sense!!
When sth like this GFX100 comes out, they then would say "Ok, 100MP is too much, I don't really pixel peep"
Sounds like many DPR users just like them.

No matter how the reviews go good or bad, I would say this is a kind of BREAKTHROUGH in terms of technology.
Love what Fuji did in these few years!
