3rd party movement Leica badge nonsense. Just my take on it :-)

Fair enough. But I'd prefer it if companies that professed to sell thing simply sold things. Buying a product shouldn't be a quiz. Aaanyway, I have a Thambar on order now :-)

I refer you to my previous reply.

Because: 1. you didn't provide a link 2. I've tried ordering a Rolex and the waiting lists are 2 years minimum for any steel watch. 3. interview = marketing. Of course they won't say it takes 3 ...

I got an Aqua Terra instead. Just as good and actually available to buy :-) If Omega and other similar companies can do it, there's no reason why Rolex can't. IMHO it's won't, not can't.

Tbf mostly interested in any of the 30, 50, 75, 90, 135 APOs, and the Thambar. Park Cameras, WEX, Clifton Cameras have about 3 M lenses in stock, of any kind, between them. On the other hand I have ...

I can only really to Nikon lenses, but yes, absolutely!

Sure but that's not why you have so many cameras ;-) You love cameras, and why ever not?

For me its partly about the dinky lenses and body. I can fit 21, 28, 35, 50, 75 and an M body, i.e. entire system, in a small bag and it only weighs about 4kg including the bag. I used to shoot ...

Yep. Much of the Leica hate is based on a mere comparison of spec sheets, without ever having used one. Or... is it the users they hate?

I doubt there are many who haven't said it yet. Everyone likes a bandwagon.

No. A rangefinder cannot make a rangefinder obsolete. Folks who want rangefinders will always buy them. This article is just a DSLR shooters perspective/bias.

My laptop is grateful it won't have to deal with 60mp raw files 👍
