R has more dynamic range than R6.Eos R has Dual Pixel Raw which gives you bonus +1 more stop of dynamic range,and your shadows will be very very clean if you use it.I use Eos R with ISO50 + Dual ...

R has  Dual Pixel Raw (+1 stop more dynamic range) R6 does not have this option.If i buy another camera will be R5...i wish R6 was at least 24-26mpx...but anyway,still very good sensora and camera !

Jan Itor seems that you have no information regard new R5 sensor...at ISO100 it has 11.85 dynamic range,and D850 has at iso64 11.63...it falls little behind R5,and here is the measurements...
