I have the Olympus 25mm f1.8 which is usually on my Pen F, otherwise it wouldn't get much use. I just keep it because it's small enough to be on this camera for when I'm out in town with a light kit. ...

Isn’t the topic “do you still use a tripod”?

Recently had a discussion with some other Olympus shooters who were trying to make the same point, that you can hand hold a few seconds exposure. That particular shot was hand held for 20 seconds ...

After watching this short documentary I understand who needs this type of lenses. It's not for us, the enthusiasts, it's for people who's career is to get THE shot. You don't get second chances in ...

I love the smooth water, light trails and twilight photography, so yes I need a tripod. I actually got a new tripod just a couple of months ago. I outgrew my Manfrotto Elements, I found it too ...

Yeah, the size and AF (specifically CAF) speed puts me off. Otherwise the 300m at f2.8 for wildlife is an amazing setup for an unbeatable price. But I’d have to consider the MMF-3 to the ...

Going to revive this thread. Would you, guys, still buy the 300 f2.8 today if you’d have to choose between this lens and the 300 f4 if they’d go the same price?

Hmm! You really don’t know what your camera can do. On the wedding photography I can think of Joe Ellis - check out his YouTube and website https://www.josephmark.com Don’t know any wedding ...

Expressed my opinion on the Pen F here, but to sum up, I wouldn't give up my Pen F https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4526476?page=2

The only thing I can think of is either the lens wasn't latched on completely, but then you aperture would disappear from the EVF/display, or that you accidentally pressed one of the fn buttons, ...

I have the EM1.2 and the Pen F, so here are first hand impressions. The EM1.2 is my landscape and wildlife camera, due to its ruggedness, weather sealing and better battery life. Prior to EM1.2 I ...

Whenever I'm disappointed with my "crop" of wildlife I look at Mircea Bezergheanu (look him up on Facebook) and I give myself a slap on the wrist. Wildlife and BIF is about knowing your gear and ...

A set of 4 Ikea Ladda batteries will cost you £5 and they will last you about 200 shots a pair, in my experience. Surely they will last more than 100 shots if you don't shoot at 1/1. In the case of ...
