I have requested that my ashes be scattered around at my favorite places. My child has not said that this will not happen, but I think an empty street somewhere will be closer to the final outcome....

part 2 Even the images I have taken for non-profits are going to be gone. Those groups do not have an archive solution in place. The images I have taken and provided to them will simply go away. I...

I have commented on articles like this in the past. Digital images are very fragile. If you do not multiple copies in different locations, the possibility of losing everything is probable. Storage...

I finally got it to work. I had to run DISM and sfc to fix issues with the image. It does not run when I use my Administrator Group account - this is just weird. That all said, Affinity has really...

The program will not install. It does not run. I have removed it from my device. On the AP forums there is an indication that since there are issues with getting v2 to work on many machines that...

I have had real issues with Affinity Photo v2. They would not let me use the same credit card that I bought v1 with. Once all the "pending" transactions aged out, I changed cards and got a...

I finally an got Affinity Photo v2 license and download. Used a different card and it went right through. Although if you go to their user forums there are still multiple people having problems....

Interesting, there is a thread on the Affinity Photo site talking about multiple customers not being able to pay for v2. So, I am not the only one. And I received an offer from Adobe that stated...

Set off yet another email. Auto response - "As a result of the V2 Launch, we are receiving an exceptional amount of emails and tickets. There will be an extended delay in responding to you." If...

I have emailed Affinity - twice. Same message back - sorry but we are busy. I have setup my machine (quite a while ago) to not default to the C: drive as I do not use Affinity on a laptop. Lame...

Affinity has blocked my bank from payment. I guess they do not want my money. Yeah, I checked with my bank and they say the issue is on Affinity's end. The transaction is sitting in the que...

You are barking up an irrelevant tree. In the last release CO Live was an additional cost. The v23 version is limited but built into the system - in that sense it is free. Would you prefer it to...

I do have to admit that I primarily used Affinity to do panoramic stitching - until CO included it. However, I have some panoramas made with my fisheye that CO and my old version of standalone LR...

Your point is? Name the tool that runs on Linux that allows for the functionality of CO Live. Explain how to essentially do this in anything made by Adobe. To be honest I do not use CO Live, but...

Even after CO has stated ad nauseum that the order of adjustments is not relevant. If you want Adobe or Affinity, then use them.

Just use a few layers and set Clarity and Structure to zero. A workaround but it works in a pinch. I have a few images where I have up to three or four layers of zeroed out clarity and structure.

It would be nice - and yes, I have suggested it - to have Affinity Photo save files as DNG's. That would facilitate moving back and forth between programs. Adobe and Capture One have the ability to...

Shellfish - i.e., Clams. If you use Oysters, it is explicitly called Oyster Chowder. Here in the Pacific Northwest, it is very common to use Geoduck. I.E. large clams.

@ Eric Hensel: Well, they are from Seattle ya know. The trick is to target the bird and toss it in the air. If the bird catches it, then wait for it to come back around (they circle over the side...

Being from the Puget Sound, it's Ivar's for Chowder. There are 16 Ivar's Seafood Bar locations from Everett (North) to Kent (South). The Pier 54 Fish Bar is the closest to Amazon next to the main...
