Thank you. I love playing with the close up stuff, it gives really interesting results sometimes. I didn't really know what I was trying to achieve here, I knew there was something there but ...

I've no idea what I was doing with this! Garden spiders, still in their... nest? Shot with a Tamron SP 90mm F2.5 Macro lens... or maybe it was a Canon FL 50mm F1.4 with Vivitar Macro TC, I can't ...

That's what happened to me. As soon as I started with vintage lenses, I suddenly found what I'd been missing.

After a quick read it seems the starling was introduced to the US and other places and its only native to Europe. From what I can tell, the European variant looks the same. I've never seen it ...

You're likely right about premium glass, but it depends on his budget obviously. I have bought a few vintage Canon L lenses, including the monster FDn 500mmm 4.5L. It certainly isn't fun to use ...

I second what Rich says about the Tamron SP lenses. I have about 5 different ones, the 70-210mm 19A being one of my favourite. They are a bit heavy but can be found in great condition if you look ...

I've recently been looking for one too, aftermarket that is. I haven't found any. Genuine one is silly money.

Depends what you call old. I use some tamron sp adaptall 2 lenses and a canon fd 500mm 4.5l for wildlife. While i have to shoot fully manual, the IQ is amazing and work great on the S5.

I'm in full agreement with you Michael. I don't know what rock these other posters have been hiding behind, but the world did NOT stop because of covid. Yes, many people were afraid to leave their...

I had the G9 a year, no freezes. I've had the S5 approx 8 months, no freezes.

Sadly you've no way of knowing now I guess, unless you can still request a return, of course, they could be telling the truth. Personally I'd pay up to a couple of hundred GBP pounds for it to ...

assuming the repair company, or at least the technician in question, was trustworthy, then the quote was ridiculous. It would be interesting to know how many write-offs they report. I personally ...

I forgot to thank you before for providing that explanation. Rather confusing from Panasonic, but I'm learning to work around the lag. Thanks again.

Just to update: Fornax got back to me and left me some instructions. I should say that I was a bit concerned about doing anything like this as I've only had the Lightrack II one day and it wasn't ...
