Making a dng. Lr takes not only the file number from one of the constituent shots, but also the exif. In this case from the +4EV shot. The 0 EV shot is at 1/125

thanks for sharing. There is already some CA in the 0 EV shot and more in the lighter shots. IMO that rules out the moving branches idea. Note that the lens correction profile in Lr is set to OFF

Might be a nice subject for several threads: which lens will be getting an update next. Not this one I think

I like #1 best, might change the title 😀

What do the originals look like in this area? you might try if skipping one or more shots helps

I have all my data on external HD’s, both primary and backups. These don’t last forever, their eventual replacements will be higher capacity and probably cheaper. So no influence on my portfolio ...

The Z9 weighs almost double the X-T4. It is an integrated grip camera, making this feature more useful xt4 v z9 I think we can forget about this. X-H2s v Z9 a third I hope, give or take a 100

I keep all raw's except the worst outtakes. From a weeklong trip I come back with ±1000. Some go into pano's or hdr's, both saved as dng's. A selection will get exported [decreasing order of ...

I shoot single row pano's with the camera vertical, that is not uncommon For the rest agreed

Valid points Quite so, especially the focusing. I also think you need test shots. You may think you see a problem in certain shots, but you need test shots for validation. What I actually do ...

i've downloaded some from that site and they are with an xt-1 and a 10-24. The exif is only interesting for a minor detail like the f-stop

Sorry, that is not the complete answer. Except for one they are all at f/8 or narrower. That means diffraction comes into play. What is more important though is that to me it is not so clear that ...

IMO this is a non-issue. Both solutions can be designed well and apparently have been so [otherwise we would have seen numerous reports]

I voted 'don't care' because I do not have a very strong opinion on this [there is a subtle difference between these positions]. I currently use XE3 which has a fixed screen. I thought that would ...

I've never had a battery fail suddenly, they lose their capacity slowly. But it might be useful checking if it charges correctly. When put in the charger, the indicator light should turn on ...

Not news, rumor [and no time frame] https://www.fujirumors.com/fujifilm-x-t5-to-feature-40mp-non-stacked-sensor-no-26mp-stacked-version-planed/

a new and again an unproven claim So who is getting emotional here?

"Fact" and 'should' don't go together.

I don’t know what relevance write-off has, and the sensor generation is not relevant. What counts is whether the processor of that generation could do it. That they needed a separate one for ibis ...
