JE River: Good thing eggs don't roll on slanted surfaces. You could put this thing down on a steep hill and it will stay perfectly put. Yup. ;)

I could go an egg roll right about now.

P10004K: How about a smartphone camera with FE mount ;)

I had that setup for a while except with a 55-210. alas, the wifi on the QX1 stopped working. but the snap On Case for the camera and Xperia Z Ultra was excellent. upgraded to a NEX-7 but still look back haha

Henrikw: hmmm - I was sure Samsung would follow Huawei's lead in zoom capabilities.
The P30 Pro offers a 125mm zoom equivalent and it's very impressive for a camera phone

yep, I was hoping for that too. bummer...

Lee Jay: $1,700 for a fixed-lens camera. That's about three times what I'd pay, no matter how good it is.

Maybe I'll get a used one off ebay in a year or two.

Kitschi: another kickstarter overpriced crap lens for hipsters as target audience...

No. He's correct. It will be hipsters that'll gravitate towards this and I'm sure that's who the current designers'll be marketing it towards.

DesmondD: If it can produce good images at really high isos I would be interested, but it would have to be way above what I can get from my D7200 before I spend more than $100 on it. The sample images are not much different to what I could get with a D40 and kit lens - they need to show us these high iso images they are boasting about.

yep, that's what he wrote 🤔
