sbszine: I wonder if they'll sell any in the MFT mount. It's going up against the excellent Olympus 75 / 1.8, which is much cheaper, has autofocus, etc.

I would love to see a comparison with the Oly 75 1.8

In terms of technology advancement and a robust supply chain 50% is an amber light ..... It would be good to see some other strong contenders driving better technology particularly in the non cell phone area.

I have no idea how you make that happen but it would be good if it did.

I would question the appropriateness of this kind of promotional material on this website, It is pure mush with very little photographer relevant detail.

Having said that some of the comments submitted do provide interesting information about Canon so I guess it is stimulatory at best

Be interesting to see DPreview compare it with the Olympus stabilisation and any others to put some perspective on this capability.

DPreview feed the lonely Xmas dogs turkey next time not Canikon unless of course you have a vested interest.

Delightful all round !! Congratulations to all involved this really shows what a certain type of photography is all about, and connects the audience to the whole experience. Humble is the word that comes to mind in the whole way this has been approached, and very fitting to the PEN which is also a very fine and humble camera. Half frame, m4/3 half a pocket full what could be more humble than that.

I hope DP review can come up with more of these sort of field tests/reviews.

Very good photograph, good to see how imperfections (noise, softness vague focus) conspire with Nature to bring together a photograph with extremely deep mood and atmosphere I love photographs like this.
