yes, it is. But remember cropping in post is different than get real close on the field. If you get real close with wide angle you'll feel a lot about the background.

I'll like to get closer and try different angles to see if I can get some expression while maintaining the tension of the game.

I like the editing much, it's perfectly well balanced. Characters just pop out from the background. Probably it's just because of your camera setting a perfect exposure. A very clear and nice image.
