Well, it could be that rampant inflation is tearing throughout the whole economy, or it could simply be that these are just the usual Canon prices

@Jason Get the R7 with the 100-500. Definitely make sure you sell ALL your Nikon gear beforehand. And then spend a day or two shooting with the R7 and realize what a mistake you made and how you...

That giant nipple on the back is nasty!

You will see how dead the M-mount is when Canon releases the R7 and R10 next week...

I wouldn't put the Pentax sticky stuff nor the swipes. I tried them both with bad results, Just use the blower, and any dust still stuck use a brand new microfiber cleaning cloth and clean the...

I am a Sony A7RIV shooter, but if I were starting now, I would probably go with Nikon. I would never go back to Canon. Tired of their overpriced products and their piggish attitude...
-
Nothing in the specs will tell you that. Frames Per Second (FPS) is in no way an indication of fast autofocus or any start-up lag that you often experience with mirrorless cameras. You simply need ...

You can get the Nikon Z5 for a lot less money than the X-T4 and it will give you much better image quality in every possible way.
-
If they could just add 0.5m to Snap Focus, this photographer would be most grateful! ;p

Don't get those Canons. Terrible dynamic range. I would spend a little more and I would get the Nikon D3500
-
I would go for something like the Nikon Z5. You will get much better quality from the bigger full-frame image sensor.
-
I would go with the a5100 or something similar. My 7-yr old nephew loves my Sony A7 way more than my Canon G7XII, and that alone makes him take more photos, and he is very careful with the camera.

Sell it! The X-T4 is fun to use, but it is also relatively big and heavy, pretty expensive, and IMHO only worth it if you shoot a lot of video... The Z7II is actually a lot of fun to use too, and ...

Super sexy. More camera companies should do this!

I am certain Canon will discontinue the M mount sooner rather than later. They will probably come up with an APS-C RF mount, and when they do the M mount will be no more, so I would recommend you ...

That is a funny reply. Snap focus does work at f/2.8 and 1m distance, and I can assure you it is pretty accurate and fairly sharp. But you probably won't believe that either. Oh, well... ;p
-
If it is not on the sensor, it will not show up in the photos, so you can just ignore it. I certainly would worry about it.
-
Few mirrorless cameras can keep up with fast action like your 7D can, so just be aware of that, and if you want a mirrorless camera that comes close to that you are going to have to spend quite a ...

I would go with the A7IV. Sony innovates constantly, whereas Canon only does so when it has to. Sony also has a much better native lens ecosystem.
