So glad we will be able to choose. Since I have floaters in my eyes the black makes it possible to read a whole lot better while the white is way too harsh.

mpgxsvcd: No, Micro Four Thirds in this category at all? Olympus OMD EM5 should have been on that list. Even the E-PM2 should have been on there.

I picked up a brand new Olympus E-PM2 with 14-42mm lens and 40-150mm lens for $349 and free shipping with no Tax collected from Amazon yesterday. The E-PM2 would compete well with everything on that list and it is less than half the price.

The Panasonic GX7 also. Nothing but good to say about this camera yet it didn't even get a nod.

Hey with the new features why not a *Like* button in the comments on the forums? Sometimes that's all you need.

What's the difference if one is using proper HDR to process or if they are using layers upon layers to make their pictures better? Are there *that* many photographers who use directly out of the camera pictures without editing the picture?

joe galluzzi: Was hoping for 2.0 or faster lens, 24mm wide angle and a bit more zoom.

Plus a wireless remote and $200 cheaper then I *might* add it to my list.

So_called_expert: I'm disappointed that they didn't compress the control layout to allow for a larger screen. The 3.0" 921k screen would have been a great feature for this camera. Instead it's stuck with basically the same screen that's on cheap point and shoot cameras.

I totally agree! 230K/2.7 screen? What is Canon thinking about? Now a days you want to move forward not stand still. And I was disappointed in the Panasonic FZ150's 450k screen not being like the Sony Hx100v 921K.
