Very nice application. Principally, it looks a lot like, and going a little further with the "kit" approach and the "stolen" feature.

On article DxOMark confirms Canon EOS 1D X II sensor advances (217 comments in total)

How come, DxO didn't compare this Canon EOS 1D X II to the Sonys A7R II for example ?

Will B Milner: This is golden, what a fantastic post! Thanks!

Thank you so much for your appreciation of his work. Feel free to check out more videos about some of Ansel Adams' other work, such as Moon and Half Dome, Yosemite, and his insights about the darkroom :

CameraLabTester: Comparing the "straight" print to the final print AA produced as shown on the computer screens, it is overwhelmingly evident that AA was also an excellent artist and craftsman who was able to metamorphose a regular negative into a work of art.

Photography is not just pressing the shutter and travelling to exotic dangerous places, it is also producing a work of art that could fetch upwards of $600,000 with just a single print.

If AA had Lightroom and Photoshop, he would have a brain explosion from all the excitement of handling this newfangled arsenal.

I can't agree more. Ansel Adams even made a statement on electronic images long before it became mainstream :

mario GTI: Better bring the "Aperture" back!

So true. Alas, now I've swithed, like so many others, to Lightroom, but only because Apple just let so many photographers down, by burying Aperture.

I would hate to sound picky, but this over-4000$-lens is NOT distortion free. It quick look at the data sheet asserts differently.

On article French newspaper publishes issue with no photos (191 comments in total)

Hi everyone,

Sorry to correct the article, but there is more to it than just a mere suppport to photographers, or anything in connection to the Chicago Sun-Times affair.

It is related to a photographer who got shot yesterday in the office of Liberation, and who is in balance between life & death.

On article Nikon AW1 First Impressions Review (591 comments in total)

Come on, give me break.
Rebirth of the mythical Nikonos ? Nikonos were slr cameras, designed at the beginning for Commandant Cousteau so he could take pictures under the sea. This Nikon 1 is merely an hybrid with some waterproof features. It's like comparing apples with tomatoes.
Let's cut the marketing crap once and for all.

Really amazing job of DxO.
I had a thought for others than merely D600-Users. So I've compiled every DxO Lens-test on one single Excel-File. Now, everyone, can filter with the camera of his choice.
Have fun !
