thanks for your comment, not calibrated screen. I found that for snorkeling it was perfect focal length (50mm macro) Here is as close I could get , plus cropping (the 50 mp file helped).

Thanks for your comment. I usually snorkel (limited mobility), and if the wind makes the surf a little hard to use slower shutter speeds, I felt it would introduce movement, and to be honest I ...

I don't do underwater photography often, perhaps twice a year. Therefore I purchased the lower cost Seafrogs housing, I have used before this brand without issues. Coupled to the A1 it was fast to ...

Thanks for the link, its interesting for several reasons, but specially its "universal" appeal for any camera body. For shooting surf and for snorkeling , more than enough. Having said that , for ...

- Clean your lens and camera contacts. - Shoot wide open - if shooting in dark area use light for focus help

No, I suggest going for the A1 if you are shooting nature. I own the older A7RIV model but to my knowledge the focus acquisition did no change between iterations . The 14mm is an awesome lens, ...

Yes, I got the 14mm Sony, 20 Tamron, 35mm Rokinon, 28-200mm Tamron, all performing "normal"

Thanks Gary, call me crazy, but the only lens (tele zoom) that I like how it performs is my 60-600mm Sigma and the 100-400 fe mount , the other I have : 150-500 Tamron and the 200-600mm sony I ...

I had the same exact issue, compared side by side with my brothers A1 and it was night and day difference. Same lens, same tripod, same specs, different quality image . Sent the camera and the ...

I thought I was the only one. For some reason I have less issues with my A7R IV.

I think that it depends on your shooting needs. If you are going to shoot sports and birds in flight, I would either buy the Z9 if you want to be in the Nikon system or buy the Canon R5 or R6, or ...

I bought a GPD Pocket 2 (now they have version 3), a very very small notebook that has several USB ports, you can charge the laptop with a USB port, so no need to carry that horrid brick that so ...

I sure do wish they made an adapter that allows me to use Nikon AF and AF-D lenses on Sony, and I would also love to see them make a nikon F (AF, AFD, AFG) to Nikon Z, it would sell quite good I...

Are you using a third party adapter? or a canon brand adapter? Either way you have an issue. I would clean the contacts on both the adapter (both sides) and the lens.

If you use a TTL Godox trigger, it must be for the brand of your camera, I am talking about the trigger, not the flash or strobe . You can use a Godox flash designed for Canon, or nikon, or ...

check out the Leofoto brand, they are not expensive and take a lot of weight (conservative ratings)

I have two nitecores and if I recall correctly, I have not had any issues with banding, flicker or other issues. Used mainly for frog and owls.

I have the Z50 , Zfc and Z7, no issues .

I would suggest Godox, the advantage of them is that their batteries are fully charged, when ready, never have I gotted a flash that the battery self depleted. Highly recommended. I wish Godox made ...

If you are thinking of mostly using it for birding and at 400mm, the tamron 100-400mm is sharper.
