There are tons of ways to do a calibration. The real key is what happens in the photos that you consider a keeper. As long as you are happy with your results, then you did it the 'right' way!

TCs work best if they are designed for a particular lens as then the whole lens/TC setup can be customized accordingly. Unfortunately, the cost of making ONE TC per lens would be nuts and very ...

One can argue that at 500mm, the PF is better than the zoom in most cases so placing a TC into the mix shouldn't change that... If anything, it should make it 1.4x more noticeable. The real ...

According to various reports, the 200-500 actually does pretty well with the TC-14eiii so much so, I actually purchased the TC for my 200-500. Haven't had a chance to put the combo through their ...

That's the same case I have and it fits better than OJ's glove!

Seems that they are trying to justify the 100 euro difference with the missing pouch. The cheaper one is the best bet. Question before you pull the trigger - who does their warranty work? Is it ...

I had similar numbers for both my D7200 and D780. With my D780, it was +1 and +9 but with a TC-14eIII, the numbers switched around to +2 and -7.

I got mine used as well but from a camera shop that offered a 60-day warranty. The price difference for me was $650 CDN between new and used. I would ask the shop why are they pricing the two ...

I believe you hit many of the nails right on the head with your statements. However, your second last sentence is the key "Still, I don't reach for the Zs anymore." No camera company wants to ...

I was fortunate enough to find an Amazon warehouse deal on a TC-14e III for about 1/3 off of the MSRP. Now, I'm looking for a decent carrying case that will offer more protection than the standard ...

I agree with this wholeheartedly. But one has to remember that the D7000 was an early forerunner of the great cameras we have to today and as such showed many of the growing pains of early ...

Might be a good opportunity to pick up some nice fixed focal length wides. I typically use zooms when I travel and for a wide the 16-35mm f4. However, as people jump ship for the latest stuff - ie ...

Lots of people have no idea what they have or what it's worth (both on the upside and the downside). I recently 'found' a D7500 with an 18-140mm lens for $550 Canadian. I didn't need the camera ...

I agree with you that owning a DSLR means learning how to clean the sensor yourself. However, I take the opposite view on wet cleaning - contacting the sensor with a wet substance should be the ...

Two possibilities really if it wasn't anything you've done: 1. The camera shop did a poor job in that they didn't clean out the mirror box well enough and dust moved from the mirror box onto the ...

I wonder if there are any undocumented improvements.

You may want to see if you can update your original post then as it's pointing to the older one.

I have to agree. Yes, it weighs a ton but honestly, I not sure it's worth the weight to carry it around.

Not surprising as the D7500 has a newer generation of EXPEED processor than the D7200 as such I would expect the newer processor to be faster and incorporate algorithms from newer higher end ...
