not sure why you'd want to. Win10 is much nicer.

Plenty of APS-C rumours in the past year or so for the RF mount - R7, R10 (just recently)

so, the usual manufacturer "marketing specs"?

They're worth it if you're shooting a ton of photos really quick and need to clear the buffer in a hurry or shooting video with redundant SD card. Otherwise, stick to UHS-I cards.
-
Sounds like they shipped with a pre-prod firmware installed. At least they picked it up relatively quickly.
-
There's still a few more years of Win10 support, so unless you find some Win11 feature you need, no compelling reason.

Yep, I know. I never have BT or WiFi on, so airplane mode is unnecessary in my case.
-
Turning off BT & WiFi should be enough. I never use airplane mode and the battery drain while stored seems to be minimal.

most likely due to the card format and files over 4GB. FAT32 has a 4GB limit. try a card reader.

not sure if serious. a 160GB card won't get you too far when shooting at 45MP or 50 (in the A1) or doing 8K video.

Just as an aside, my "old" XF100 video camera has a few second "pre" buffer, so it will capture the couple of seconds before you press record. Definitely comes in handy at events.

Win 10 does it too. Its a feature, not a bug ;) If you're running low, you need to get more RAM. 16GB would be a minimum these days - especially with memory hogs like Chrome/Edge browsers.

Check the Gordon Laing video when he swaps between modes. Definitely not 8 secs and its doing a sensor clean in between. Though I have seen other videos where flipping directly across modes (rather...

VLC isn't the greatest player out there.

I definitely see it when shooting video on my old 24-70 2.8 - its quite steady compared to shooting on a 5D mk IV

The camera doesn't care. It'll happily snap the picture when you press the shutter button. If you have the lights in different groups you could (potentially) dial in the light to minute amounts, ...
