There doesn't seem to be *yet* A couple of the CFExpress readers will also do SDHC, but thats about it. Its still early days for CFExpress though.
-
Yes, this seems to be normal for CFExpress cards. A tip i've picked up along the way is to remove the card once you've transferred the files off it. It'll continue to generate heat if left in the ...

I shot a portrait with my R5 for the first time yesterday. I have the shutter button set to the "standard" metering & AF start. AF-On to the same as shutter button - ie back button focus * set to ...

Not really sure a dedicated cinema camera would be competing with a stills camera in the real world. But if it makes you happy.
-
I definitely would for some shots. 4K120 interests me more though - slo-mo + DPAF = win!
-
Any camera with IBIS & super-wide lens will do this. Check Camera Conspiracies YT channel for loads of similar "tests" If you zoom in a little to something like 18mm (on that lens) the wobble would ...

Use an external recorder to get around that limit.

Then you'd be moaning because it has no weather sealing.

Recording limit is still 29:59.

You might want to check Canon Rumors re the R6. Also, check the Canon site re the official announcements live stream coming in a couple days.
-
The R6 might be ~$2K, but the R5 is going to be sub-$4K
-
- They announced it in Feb because there were already "leaked" rumors about its capabilities. Canon just confirmed those then. - The RF glass is definitely more expensive, but also some are more...

Seems a little extreme to sell everything. Mirrorless looks to be the way of the future, so I doubt Canon or Nikon will be producing many more DSLRs.

The CrippleHammer has gone too far this time /s

I'd imagine there will be limitations - no IBIS in 8K mode is probably one, no AF could be another.
-
It'll likely have a battery grip rather than an extension.
-
@PDL thats probably because you don't need an app on Windows to view insta. Any browser will work fine. Bonus, as has been stated elsewhere, its ad-free.
-
The R5 will likely be about 3x the cost of the 90D, so I'd say you did ok. You could wait for the rumored R6 or whatever successor the R5 & R6 have.
