Panasonic S1r has only one RAW saving option and it is ... tadaaam... a LOSSLESS COMPRESSED RAW. So, Panasonic "got" it in 2019, when S1 cameras were released!

I love ultrazooms, really! BUT 28-200? Come on, this is THE worst range an ultrazoom can have! If the shorter end is 28, let it be at least 28-300, not 200! BUT I would prefer a 24-240, or at ...

New things ALWAYS get voted for, just because they are new. And still, S1R is ahead! THAT alone speaks about S1R's quality better then all words!
-
Sure, let me elaborate. Street photography, as I see it, needs the BEST Af system one can get. Being a reporter you will shoot from any positions (often not looking in the VF even) and will never ...

I own S1r for 1.5 hears. I use it a lot and I like it a lot. I think that photography wise it is THE best camera out there still. With one IF - IF you are not a street/reporter photographer... This ...

@geoson, yes, a 20-200mm lens would be a "bomb" zoom! I would surely buy it, even if it will cost more then a regular superzoom lens! But, 24-300 would be very nice to have also. While 28-200......

Well, we are talking about Panasonic, don't we? 20-60 also looks like an impossible range and yet there is Panasonic 20-60mm, which I use alot, even though I have 24-105 also. 28 is TOO often not...

Superzoom lens is VERY welcomed! But Panasonic, please, not 28-200! At least 24-240! 28 is too narrow for an all rounder.

Great camera! I am not interested in it (I shifted into high MP and have no reasons to go back to low MP), I am waiting for S1R-II, BUT S5-II is a very good product! And I will surely buy a 14-18...

For me 20-60 gives a very satisfactory results. I am happy with it's IQ and not going to sell it... Actually, I use it quite alot. So this level of quality will be well enough for me.

Panasonic does not seem to be in a hurry to release it's own 100-400... Actually, what I would LOVE to have, either from Panasonic of from Sigma, is 24-240mm lens, or something like that. Maybe, if ...

I like how the Sigma performs. A very nice lens... The only problem is that strangely it has no profile with S1R camera in DXO... So their "Lens sharpness" parameter is not available...

Hello! I want to share some pictures from Kuala Lumpur Birds park. Bird Park is a large portion of forest covered with a net so most of the birds there are just flying around you. Some, however, ...

I have one, without autofocus... It can control aperture with half stops step. Works fine for al; lenses but I'd prefer to have an autofocus version... But noone created it unfortunately...

The difference is nearly invisible, MUCH less the 1 stop. Not 1 stop, not even close to it. Sorry...

Ok see for yourself Notice ANY significant difference? I don't.

Actually, BSI does not add THAT much to low light performance of DR. That's why FSI are still alive actually... Nikon Z6II uses BSI sensor, while Nikon Z5 uses FSI of the same resolution. Their low ...

Nissin makes good flashes. I have a Nissin i40 (for Micro 4/3), works like a dream. Not that powerful, yet I needed a compact flash more then a powerful one...

I have an S1R which I've bought in the end of November 2021. So I am using it for almost a year already. What I like in this camera especially : (1) Ergonomics. This camera is THE most comfortable ...
