I bought my RX100 M3 used in 2016 and I've never had a problem with it.

Love the photo described as "My grandparents in the 1950s". The plane is a Stinson Voyager, 150HP, four-seat single engine plane. I flew one of those on a few trips back in the late 1950s, soon...

Update on that. I found that I indeed can set the webcam to 1080p, and that works. But not in Zoom because the Zoom app only allows 1080p for special use cases (and higher $ plans).

I use a (cheap) external USB lapel mic and it's much better than the mic on my C925e. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077VNGVL2

I bought this versatile umbrella light from Amazon and it makes all the difference for my Zoom meetings. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0161NTR9O Also got this USB lapel microphone for much...

I bought a Logitech C925e (same specs as the C930e except for a narrower field of view). However, I found that it only produced 720p video, not 1080p. When I asked Logitech support about that,...

Prior to the OM-1, I had wanted an SLR but they were to large and heavy for my preference, Then when the OM-1 was announced, I jumped at it and bought one of the first ones available. It was my...

I love DxO DeepPRIME, and will wait to see if the new DeepPRIME XD is significantly better.

Here you are. 100% crop of the S22 using 3x zoom lens. I'd call that quite sharp (or at least sharp enough). As I said above, this was a second test in which I first tapped the screen where I ...

I prefer: Now we all own cameras with built-in cell phones.

Update. This morning I again shot the same pic with my S22 set to 3x, this time (after a suggestion from the Android forum) first tapping the screen where I wanted it to focus. This one is MUCH ...

I just tried it again, about four feet away, and I made sure to first tap where I wanted it to focus. I'd say the result was quite a bit better (although I don't have my RX100M3 with me now to ...

-
f/2.4 is wide open for that lens. Also, the "normal" lens photo of that same (wider) area, taken at the same time, is much sharper.

Here's the full original image file.

Here you go. #1 - S22 using x3 zoom. #2 - RX100M3 full zoom. Screen shots of 100% displays. Larger objects (and less area included) for the RX100M3 because of its higher pixel count, which should ...
