The lens is very similar the the manual focus Pentax-m 35-70mm 1:2.8-3.5 which is a hidden treasure. It beats the crap out of a lot of much more modern zooms.

There millions of excellent film slrs around. Who is going to spend big bucks on a new unknown brand.
