Lets see a mirrorless full spec carbon fiber camera and lens system. :D

this kind of stuff needs to be in cameras, not just smartphones.

They might need to redefine what they consider to be "professionals." Just sayin....

It'd be nice to see one of the two (Nikon or Canon) actually produce something interesting.

what I wanna know is why cameras don't have the flash triggers built in. Universalize flash triggers and build them into the cameras. It's stupid and obnoxious to have to hotshoe a trigger.

Canon just keeps getting further and further behind. Can't help but think they're sitting on something though........they really need to get moving though if they're gonna do something.

justmeMN: There goes Sony's fantasy of being #2 in FF camera market share. Sony will remain stuck at #3 for the foreseeable future.

a7r III will most likely match or surpass this. But it is a nice camera. Nice to see that the price isn't ridiculously high even though it's WAY too high for me....but ya...

Computational photography is definitely the future of photography. Phones will always have major limitations....but I can't wait to see "pro-level" computational photography rigs in the future. Gonna be awesome!

I love it! Wish they would keep developing it. But when it went free it was obvious that this was coming.

I've used Apple pretty much my whole "digital life"......but that Microsoft Studio computer, and these surfaces are starting to woo me. Apple's losing it's edge.

if someone put a larger sensor in a ruggedized "action cam" I think they'd sell like hot cakes. (as long as the could keep it relatively small.)

I know I'd buy one. I'm looking for something like those Olympus tough cams....but with a decent sensor in size in it.

Man....they're killin' it. If it's weather sealed....then that's pretty much game, set, match.

I'll never be able to afford it......but can't wait till the tech trickles down to the lower end models.

Terry Breedlove: I just don't get all this fascination with Selfie technology . Of all the things companies like Adobe can be focusing money and man hours on and this is what they are doing. Maybe it i just me but seems kind of nuts.

if they can get past the limitations of lenses and glass with software I'm all for it. If they can make an iphone with a larger sized sensor and software that can mimic or recreate what larger, obtrusive, and expensive glass can do.....that'd be pretty incredible. I know most people and especially those "pro photographers" would LOSE their minds over it....but....meh. It'd be sweet. Smartphones are certainly headed that way (but still decades out it seems).....I just wish the smartphone industry and camera industry would collaborate. Wish they could get better and bigger sensors in smartphones and wish "legit cameras" would create better UIs and interfaces with good connectivity, etc.
