In reply to:

Sue Anne Rush: An excellent photograph of the $2 watch.

Thanks for the kind words, Sue. Hard to imagine that was taken with a cheap point and shoot camera.

cjf2: Great photo and well deserved second place. I wonder if I could suggest you try it again using focus stacking to give a little more depth of field. Also use a bit of cloning to fill in the light leaking under the wheels that would not occur on the real thing with soft rubber tires.

Thanks for the kind words. I agree, I should have photostacked the image. I usually do and am not sure why this one isn't. Had I been a better model builder I would have had straighter landing gear and wheels. Aloha!

Nice photo. Was this above the Roman Baths? I didn't see this the one night I spent in this very pretty town.

RogerLittle: An ugly wall turned into splendid art. The surrounding "frame" just melts away. How did you get the vignetting effect? A great choice.

Hi Roger,
The vignetting was added using ACDSee. Thanks for the kind words.

Cheers,
Val

Wildbegonia: Beautiful. Congratulations, it is my favorite, it deserved to win. Also, this little camera has an amazing. I had it too and it traveled far and long with me, got great photos with it and gave me more satisfaction as product that any other camera considered 'better brands' I have.

Hi, Thanks for the kind words. The W30 is a great camera as long as I remember to check that it is in P mode and not ISO mode.

I just picked up the RX100M2, but the W30 will still travel around the world with me.

Cheers

It's the body of a plastic model figure turned on it's side. The mouth happened to be where the legs of the figure plug into. The Eyes are where the rocket nozzles are fitted.

Thanks for all the Votes.
