As a long term user of bot the the TZ100 & TZ200 I can confirm that the TZ100 is a great camera and still holding its own today. The TZ 200 is better still and a much better buy if you can afford ...
-
The repeated reference to a slower lens that is often quoted when comparing the TZ200 to the TZ100 is farcical. It's "slower lens" is so close to that of the TZ100 in real world terms that it's ...
-
Well that's fine then, you don't need to do anything, the TZ100 is a good camera . However the TZ200 is better in every respect. It's "slower lens" is so close to that of the TZ100 in real world ...
-
As an extensive user of both I can assure you thst the 200 does replace the 100. It's an improvement in every respect, zoom, EVF & handling. The F.Wits who claim the 200 has a slower lens ...

Yae they are still producing it. They are still producing the FZ300/330 from 2015 too, beacuase it sellls. There isn't a lot of money in compact camera sales anymore for the manufacturers I'm ...
-
There is none, furthermore its unlikely to ever happen given that its a compact camera and they aren't particularly profitable.
-
I've just had a look on the site and every single "compact" camera listed is "out of Stock" as well as a large proportion of G series too. Only upper end G series & the SI -H are available. It ...

Peter, many thanks for that response based on decades of experience. I didn't want to risk trying it out as the lenses in my new varifocal glasses were a ridiculous price! After a declining ...
-
Thanks Kate, The reason I posted this was that I was sure that I'd read about it somewhere on this forum at some point. As I said I've never worn specs, other than reading only ones and so I have ...

As someone with a bit of a reputation as a guru on this forum regarding the TZ/ZS 200 technical aspects, the shoe is now on the other foot as a new wearer of spectacles. I''ve been wearing reading ...

I did the vacum cleaner trick on one of my TZ's but I can't remember if it was the 100 or the 200. It worked. As an alternative, some compressed air fired in between the joints of the lens ...

I dud actually put one on my TZ100 but not on my 200!

Ken, Why are you so offended? I’m not trying to denigrate the experience of anyone. Why on earth should I and what would it gain me? You find the grip useful which is fine. I don’t see the need for ...
-
Jeff You've asked the question of the forum "Does anybody have positive experience with add-on grips for either the Panasonic ZS200 or the LX100ii" I've been using ZS's extensively (100 almost from ...
-
Jeff With the ZS/TZ200 there is absolutely no need whatsoever for an add on grip, if you wish to use it one handed (right hand). None at all in my experience/ Dave
-
I agree wholeheartedly with John. The zebras feature is a nuisance and the histogram is more than adequate. The ZS200 is a superb camera. Dave

1) This post is 5 years old 2) The FZ300 is optically superior to the FZ70/80
-
Dominick, you are already in deep excrement so what is there to lose? Turd embellishment is the way forward, go polish it! Dave
-
I'd suggest a full reset back to factory settings, try again and if it happens again send it in for repair. I would agree with you that the most likely cause is a connection failure in the hardware.

It sounds like you have a defective camera and need to return it
