Hi Henry, I have also tried it but unfortunately with the same result. According the manual you should use the "RM-CB2 remote cable".

I have had good sessions and bad sessions but still looking for the best setup. With shots like these, I thought that I was nearly there but last 2 sessions 75% straight into the dustbin.

Correct I did not checked the contacts yet but it could be the problem. I will keep you up to date.
