I got the A7R V today and the remote shooting is significantly better! It supports touch to focus and the connection is much more stable. The app seems "different" even though it's still the same ...

I have A7C and would like to get A7R 5 for a few reasons: more megapixels, better menu navigations, improved AF, and a few more. But my biggest pet peeve is the Imaging Edge remote. It performs ...

There are many denoising programs out there that remove the "noise" and leave the details as much as they can. This image you show can easily be denoised.

It's a necessary move - we have gotten way too dependent on China for many products. It's not just about political animosity but diversification among many nations to keep logistics more resistant...

You don't need local dimming with IPS black since the blacks are much better at blocking the light.

Does it really? Does it actually show the true HDR with highlights glowing? You can store 14 bits in Image format but still only shows 8 bits worth even on hdr+ display.

Excellent for remote use as it keeps focusing as much as it can before it can capture.

Before you resort to buying a "faster focusing" lens, you may achieve that with just using AF-C Focus and press AF-ON button and hold the button down to keep focus on the moving subject. That may ...

Amazing. I always thought the color filter is created with the sensor during with the process.

Aren't they technically called tone mapping?

That's an exciting development and I definitely look forward to true HDR imagery! I could definitely notice the HDR on my iPhone 14 with videos. They literally pop out with highlights and they...

You can open photos from Photos with any editors. You just right click on the image and select "Edit With... " and you select the app you want to use to edit it. It will either save changes to the...

The PixelMator lets you open images directly from Photos app.

The app is very snappy and responsive. It's cheap and it works well. It has a different UI so it takes a while to get used to it. It's an excellent photo editor if you want to retouch and adjust....
