Nikon D300 (I love this camera)
*Still* waiting for Nikkor 300mm f/4 to receive VR II and Nikkor 80-400mm to be upgraded to AF-S, VR II, and likely a new formulation. I now often carry Nikkor Micro 85mm DX VR as a travel closeup lens without a tripod, not usually for macro but for closeups on trips up to 1:2, e.g., flowers. This is an excellent lens, also great on a tripod w/VR off, has a 8-in. working distance at 1:1, and is a wonderful bargain. Good for portraits as well. 12.5 oz., 3.9-in. long, and under $500. Recommended.
Hoping for more Nikkor *DX* lenses. A small and light wide angle, maybe 12mm, is at the top of the list. T&S and DC would be lovely.
I now have Jon Cone's color ink system for Epson R2880 in hand but I'm waiting for one of my Epson inks to run out before I install it. (Different individual inks but same gamut as Epson's and uses their ICC Profiles. This is magic to me.)
