Wasn't trying to compare the two cameras. I know they have major differences. I just wanted to point out that the rumored Z6III won't be in such high demand as the X-100VI, and probably will be ...
-
Unfortunately, after the X-100VI became available, I hemmed and hawed before deciding to order the camera -- 4 days later . Although Hunt's Photo confirmed that I'm "in the queue," I know there are ...

I don't need a little bag flapping around when I'm trying to take pictures. Also, my camera on a strap around my neck is instantly ready to take a picture, whereas you have to go digging through ...

Sorry, I like to travel light. Camera on a strap. That's it. My hands protect it from bumps, bruises, etc.
-
While I probably won't use my X100VI for work, I need to have a neck strap on my cameras because of have to stop and write down information on a note pad. Gotta have some way to hold the camera.
-
But suppose you need to adjust the length? One size does not fit all.
-
I'm with you, Alan. Also, if somebody wants to handle my camera, I make them put the neck strap on.
-
I have put Op/Tech E-Z Comfort neck straps on all of my cameras. Very well-made and comfortable.

Not wanting to be among the thousands of people who probably ordered from B&H, expecting that they'll be backordered for some time, I ordered my X100VI from Hunt's Photo, the largest camera store ...

My Nikon Z6 III before the X100VI that I ordered.

I wasn't planning to order from Amazon. I never order cameras from them. And I did order one from an independent camera shop. Just curious about why Amazon is no longer showing the X100vi.
-
I thought I saw the X100vi at Amazon the other day, but now it's gone. :-(

mpb.com is selling Fuji x100Vs in "Like new" condition for $1,709.00. Seriously?
-
I had a PayBoo account, and purchased several things with it. But then some time went by and I wasn't using the card, so the bank cancelled it on me -- without warning. And thanks to that action, ...

I have been waiting a long time for the availability of the 100vi, a nice lightweight camera I can carry with me anywhere. With tax it's going to cost me $1,700. The problem is, I shoot paid ...

That's why it came with a wrist strap.

I still have my XA, its flash and the plastic box they came in ... all in near-mint condition. I brought my XA to a friend's wedding, and asked the professional photographer if she minded if I shot...
-
You are absolutely correct. That wasn't a good test I did. My experience was similar, but practically the whole screen went completely white, not just brightening up the scene, but washing it out ...

This makes sense. I was in a large, dim room with groups of people 15 to 20 feet away from me. The camera obviously was struggling with the focus.

Tim, I'm glad that somebody else experienced this, and that it's apparently a quirk with these cameras. I owned 4 Panasonic mirrorless cameras and this never happened.
