Looks to me like best approach is to get the image exactly the way you want it and then apply super res.

I think Adobe says can only be run once.  I have found that if you save as tif instead of dng that the tif can be imported into Lightroom The dng will not import.

If one is using Super Resolution and intend to crop is it better to crop first or apply SR and then crop?
