Thanks! I have seen birds get stunned from flying into windows but this little guy was pretty bad for while. I hope he survived but will never know.

Thanks for the comment. I can't imagine experiencing an eagle crashing into the sliding glass door! This little bird made a pretty loud noise so the eagle must have sounded like a canon!

Thank you Morris. This is probably the first time in 5 years that this has happened since moving into this house. We do have a screen and will likely use it to make sure this doesn't happen again.

poor little guy slammed into our sliding glass door this morning and I didn't think he was going to make it. But after a pretty lengthy recovery time that lasted a few hours he finally flew off!!

thanks for the comment. These were shot at a local reservoir outside of Albany New York. It actually wasn’t too cold that day. And I have to go back and check the exif data of the first picture. ...

All shot in jpeg and tweaked a little in snapsneed . Most were done in Velvia simulation.

Thanks. I tried not to get too heavy handed with the HDR, but I can see how some might think it is a little too much.

very quite shot from my backyard with the xt20. Used velvia simulation and some HDR from snapseed.  May not be to everyones liking and I fully understand that.

so far I am hopeful that this lens will be a big improvement for indoor photos (compared to the kit lens of the g85),even if it is a little tight at times.
