Nikon3500guy

I have been taking photos for over 40 years as an amateur photographer.
I first photographed with my trusty Nikkormat EL and later the Ricoh XR-2 and the Nikon F301.
As the 35mm celluloid slid out, I went over to the pocket formats fx. Nikon coolpix P5100 etc. (and of course, smartphones). But with their limitations, I am now back to "the SLR's". I have just invested in my first DSLR - a nice Nikon D3500, as a start.
A lot of new and exciting photo-technology opportunities that didn't exist years ago - exciting (and a little hard to get to know all the new buttons and features... ;)
