It looks good, but I don't think I understand the color management options. Is it possible to process a NEF and export a Tiff in ProPhoto RGB? (Without getting weird results).

May I just ask about the exposure for the test shots? Sorry if it has been covered already.
Looking at the ISO 12800 examples for the Nikon D750 and D800, one has used spot metering and the other matrix metering, with the D750 receiving twice the exposure of the D800. Does this reflect a different level of illumination for the two test shots, or different responses from the metering systems under identical illumination?
Thanks

Dear Axel,
7.5. seems to work well with the D800. I'd like a module for the Samyang 14mm though. Are there still technical difficulties with this lens?

SeeRoy: Another company ripping off UK purchasers. At current rate the "Elite" price should be about £250. Well, they are French and I suppose I've seen worse...
That said, and although I've only tried it in the evaluation versions, the mapped lens/body correction model is something that Capture NX2 would do well to replicate - at least for Nikon's own products - in fact it's incomprehensible why they don't already have it. And the volume anamorphosis correction in DxO is almost worth the price for extreme w/a users: almost. Of course it seems that no-one cares about this whilst endlessly nit-picking about minor differences in the RAW conversion performance of different applications.

I agree with you. "Lighting" is also a useful control, by means of the gamma slider.

Axel,
Thanks for the reply about the Samyang 14mm. I thought there must be some technical reason. I hope you persevere though because its unusual distortion cries out for a DXO module.

Axel,
any news on the Samyang 14mm for Nikon D700, which was listed last year but has NOW vanished from the upcoming modules?

I quite like DXO, and it has gradually improved over the years. I'd like to see the module for the Nikon D700 and Samyang 14mm lens, which was on the upcoming list for a while but then vanished. I'd have thought it an ideal candidate for a DXO module.

Support for the Samyang 14mm on Nikon D700 was promised earlier in 2011 but has now disappeared from the list of upcoming modules. An ideal lens for a module I'd have thought. Is there a problem with producing this one?
