Definitely 12-45mm f4. Small, amazing IQ, WR, very short - almost semi-macro - closest focusing distance. Just add 20mm f1.4 for those low light scenarios and there’s not much you can’t do.

Just wanted to share this pic of my 3-year-old princess doing some gardening. Her joy is so fun to watch! R6 + 24-70/2.8L @f5

Sorry about typo, of course I meant Think Tank since we were talking about TT Urban access sling :) Urban access 10 has been my trusted winter sports (cross-country skiing, snowboarding, downhill ...

I’m sure Lowepro 250 sling bag is awesome bag. It’s quite big though, and can be only held on one shoulder - and it opens only one side. This is big problem, which normal messenger/sling bags ...

Look no further than Think Tank Urban Access Sling 8l or 10l. One of the best bags that I’ve used, and meets your criteria. It is very comfortable and can ve used both left and right shoulder. It ...

A lot has been said already about these two options, but about those lenses: 18-55 is brighter in wide end, before it becomes f4. Other than that, 12-45 has the edge. - It has WR, has 24-90mm ...

Until recently, I always thought that Fuji had better offering of quality WR primes than Oly, and vice versa Oly had better PRO zooms. I still do - in general - but OMS is finally on the right ...

Fuji 16-80 was perhaps the biggest disappointment for me in a long time. I was waiting ”Oly 12-100” for Fuji to pair with my XT3 or XT4 (cannot remember which one I had at that time). It turned ...

Yes, Fuji has better IQ, but as you said the difference is not that big. Actually in real life use I find it quite marginal. Plus, in many cases you can use much lower ISO with Olympus than with ...

This. The size/feature/quality-ratio of EM5iii with 12-45/4 and 20/1.4 is unbeatable. And it comes with brilliant small swivel head flash too. XE4 is lovely camera, sure, but lacks ibis and wr. It ...

It’s a real shame that other manufacturers (and OMS anymore) don’t add similar flash. Why on earth those small flashes that come with cameras have usually no swivel head and thus practically unusable.

I have OM-1 which I usually use with awesome 12-100/4 lens. Also Canon R6 with big and bulky L-lenses. Both of these have their uses. But, very often I find myself using EM5iii with tiny PRO lenses ...

I have made many 100cm x 70cm prints, from 16mpix mft sensor. Now I do them with 20mpix. Both are totally fine. If your audience see technical issues in your print, then there’s something wrong ...

Yes and no. Depends what you want and need. For me, much better AF and improvements in ISO is reason enough. Other new features are awesome too, like faster usage due to new sensor. For example, ...

Pana 20mm f1.7 is no weather sealed, so no thanks. Also AF is nowhere near Oly PRO lineup.

I’ve own and used both of these cameras, and here are my experiences. X100V is lovely camera. Awesome quality fixed lens, great IQ, film sims best in business, leaf shutter and build in ND filter. ...

Had rx100iii some years ago but sold it. It was not fun to use, UI was abysmal and so was ergonomics too. I think E-M5.3 and 12–45 is one of the two m43 sweet spots for travelling, considering ...

I shoot with RF 24-70 f2.8, both professionally and for fun. Brilliant lens, it never disappoints. Reliable workhorse. It’s quite big and heavy though, so not ideal for hikes or travelling.

It was not the most colorful day - this is not b&w :D R6 + 14-35mm f4 L

Weather could not have been more perfect to cross-country skiing. We had a sledge to carry almost-3-year-old with us. Lapland is truly magical and we have a priviledge to own a cabin there. The ...
