A beautiful day in Michigan's Upper Peninsula called for a visit to Wagner Falls near the city of Munising. Fall is the best season for waterfalls but the winter with a fresh falled snow isn't ...

I think the Panasonic Lumix S52 is a heck of a deal for a camera with solud autofocus. Panasonic is really going after the market with that camera and their pricing.

Far better for still? Maybe better, but not by a lot. That's Sony takes pretty damn good pictures. Remember, your Pentax has a Sony sensor in it.

I'm new to Panasonic with a new S5 so this is great info. Thanks for sharing. Scott

Great pics, love the colors and unique subjects. Great job! Scott

I only have three lenses currently so it would have to be my Panasonic 50mm f1.8, Sigma 28-70 f2. 8 and Panasonic 70-300. That 50mm is insanely sharp, even wife open and amazingly light. Scott

The key is reporting without validation. Kind of like not having a witness or evidence in a trial, it goes nowhere fast. But of course if we name the gear you've probably owned and used it so we ...

Wow, you named three, golf clap please. If you like your OM1 that's great. But the original poster making claims and all the Olympus fans jumping on board is laughable when there is no evidence, ...

You lost me with the German/Polish comparison, not really apples to apples but it's your reality. 😂 Maybe you should look at what actual professional photographers use. Sorry, but checkmate. https ...

That's what I did, sold my K1MRKII along with my favorite 70-200 f2.8 and other lenses. I figured it was time for a full divorce. I still have my K5iis for sale on PentaxForums and it should ...

You're a little full of yourself aren't you? The best camera is the one you have with you, not the one you think is. In the hands of a true professional the camera doesn't matter. The OM-1 is ...

Very nice, we'll done. Scott

I believe in time that will change. The L Mount hasn't been around that long but is excellent in it's function and we're seeing more quality lenses being introduced. Add to it that Lumix makes ...

That's actually hilarious and the poster makes himself look like a pompous #$#@. 🤣

I agree it's not as active as the Pentax forum I recently just left when I bought my S5 but the advice I have been getting here has been excellent and everyone is more than willing to help out. To ...

I've only had it for a few weeks so I don't have enough experience with it to provide a review yet. Took it out once at a waterfall but there really wasn't much of an opportunity to use it at that ...

You're right Jonathan, I played around with it last night taking photos of my dog in low light and the 50 mm is truly an amazing lens. Even at 1.8 I was blown away by how sharp the pictures were! ...

I agree and I definitely need something wider than 28 for landscape. Michael responded that both Panasonic and Sigma look to have a wide zoom coming out in the near future so I think I'll wait as ...

Good to know and thanks for the info. I also see Sigma might come out with a 14-30mm f4 C lens. That would be perfect, hopefully it's out within the next year. Scott

Not a bad thought but it doesn't give me a wide angle lens that I'm looking for. I already have the Panasonic 7-300 so the long end is covered. Scott
