I had the SL2, swapped it for a SL2-s and never looked back.

According to rumors, Leica decided to axe the CL line

That's actually a good idea!

You must be so much fun at parties

@Biowizard: That is DPR in a nutshell for you

They probably make more money than you

and why would you buy a Lomo Portra when you can buy the original Portra? People will always buy the original instead of a copy. Lomo is doing good by offering a different product for a different...

Actually this film was sold out for ages. There may be technical limitations in producing it.

Nope. The SL has a set of microlenses on its sensor stack that are designed to work with the M mount lenses. The S5/S1 doesn't.

I don't think we'll see the Q3 before 2023. Leica has a 4 years release cycle, and the Q2 was released in 2019, and on top of that there's the semiconductor crisis

I went for the F4 version because it's smaller and lighter than the 2.8 version and I don't need 2.8 with my SL2S. I also got the 1.4x extender. I don't really use these very often, but I really ...

Leica just released a big software update for the SL2, and among the improvements, there are enhancement to the autofocus and face recognition. I'd suggest you to install it asap
-
as an alternative, I'd suggest trying Topaz Gigapixel AI, can be used as a plug in or standalone. Does the same thing as Adobe's Super Resolution.
-
They are not forcing companies, your company is free to use whatever plug you want. But you won't be able to sell it in the European market. Their market, their rules.
