@TheRealYeats: "Recommending a camera that lacks IBIS is also poor judgment." Somehow the "necessity" to have IBIS for landscape escapes me..

@John Crowe, indeed - also many new APS-C models such as the D5600 are still available new here - I can even get a D7500 for $750 new... I don't think a D3500 weighs significantly more than the...

Surely, on mirrorless with various focusing aids that come from different companies (focus peaking, for example), it's a different ballgame than back in the day..

There once was an EU import duty of 5-12% to any video camera, including hybrid.. From what I read, (quote, from article below ) the European camcorder tariff law as applied to still cameras was...

You have a point, one could relatively easily automatically flip the colour of an AF box or marker (or sections of a box depending on the majority colour) to be a contrasting colour to that of the...

For me a touchscreen would be a deterrent, the usability of the Macbook touchpad/keyboard is just so damn good I would never dream of needing or wanting to use a touchscreen and the cost of having...

@JFPhotography69 I think it's obvious the original poster probably meant "if the same person was behind the camera", which lens is better..

or to "upgrade" from their (and Olympus's) MFT models perhaps.. Nice price though for the S5ii. The Z6ii was originally launched here in Switzerland at around 2.5K, but that's "normal" ...

I would be interested to know what evidence you have for the Z9 being done by the D6 team, and following that the the original design team for the Z6 still remains as a separate identity? There ...
