cybertec69: I am sticking with the initial version of this lens, it still takes fantastic pictures.

Prairie Pal: Well I shouldn't be surprised by the announcement. I just bought the "old" VR2 version brand new. *sigh*. You guys have me to thank for this new version, because every time I invest in photo equipment the new model is released shortly after.

Nothing wrong with the vr2..bought mine for $1896 during nikon promo sale earlier this year..def a bargain :)

Copied mtf charts from vr2 & e version..hmmm..marginal iq gains...my pocketbook is staying put with the vr2 :)

Picturenaut: I think many of those complaining about the lack of a fragile articulated screen do not get for what purposes such a rugged camera is made. My 5D3 for sure would be already broken if it didn't have a fixed screen in a massive body, I use it frequently for wildlife shooting in quite tough environments.

Since the 5D4 now has - finally! - WiFi you can use your smartphone as a super flexible additional screen if you need that.

My d750 has been rock solid for 2+years.
Love built-in Wi-fi and the crappy, non robust articulated LCD screen (sarcasm :)

I was considering selling my D750 for the D500, but looking at ISO samples, I'm sticking with my D750 as I can shoot HI 2(51200) and get nice images.

I upgraded from a D800 last year and have had no complaints...Not the most in-depth review (plenty out there) but pretty much spot on. Willl keep this one for quite some tme.

I'll be keeping my Note 4 since I just recently upgraded from a Note 3. No removable battery/SD card are a minus on this line from Samsung. Maybe they'll bring em back in the Note 6, but I doubt it.

halc: I'm sure I'm not the only Note owner who is disappointed:

- small, non-replaceable battery
- no SD-card (I shoot a lot of video/photos and already have lots of medi on my phone with 32GB+128GB 95% full)
- very modest changes in the cam department

To me it's like Note4+ with a pretty cover.

bocajrs: Shipping mine out today

Hello - I got a full refund from Nikon on my D600 and now enjoying the D750 flare issue aside. I don't plan on switching brands for the foreseeable future.

People can't be happy.

I'm a happy camper with my D750 :) No ill feelings towards Nikon since they've addressed the issue.

HomoSapiensWannaBe: Why of course they will fix the problem "at no cost". The camera was just introduced Sept 12, 2014, therefore no camera is out of warranty save the very small quantity bought used or refurbished in the short time since introduction.

They would still have to fix even if it's out of warranty

breivogel: Hopefully, Nikon will cover the shipping for the camera (both ways). I should not be out $40.

Yes...they cover shipping both ways..
