Gimli son of Gloin: But... but... but... only DSLR I will ever EVER need. Best thing since sliced bread... <hyperbole grumblings>.... <super-hyper-hyperbole grumbklings>....
What am I to do with all of this kool-aid I bought?
But.. but.. but... the article says "Could be", not "Is definitely".
Fujica: I find it strange that DPreview mentions advertising trade-ins while it is not marked as an advertorial..
I know of several camera companies having such trade-in discounts right as we speak, but I have never seen them mentioned on DPReview.
Looks a lot like a sponsored message to me.
"OSV You are nothing more then a Sony troll that likes to deceive and lie"
@Fujica he's not the only Sony troll who has left the comfort of the rock.
scokill: Who took their dslr to dinner anyway???
I have. A big honkin d800e (with grip!). So what?
DualSystemGuy: Demand exceeded expectations? Yeah right...
Worked for Sony's A99II.
MrALLCAPS: 6D is selling? I sold my 6DmkI and went Fujifilm. I had hopes for the mkII, but that just solidified staying with Fuji. Don't hate to say it, but Canikon cameras are the Dinosaurs and the uninformed just get in line and get fed their outdated cameras...
Good thing most of the world is not a gear head on a forum who sold their 'dinosaur' for the distant future of photography. Canon would be broke.
antares103: They are probably developing new and innovative ways to recall thier cameras, porportional to thier costs.
The D850 will not be released, until the D860 is ready to correct the former's faults.
That's Nikon's commitment to quality.
"The D850 will not be released, until the D860 is ready to correct the former's faults."
At least that would be proactive, unlike Sony.
cosinaphile: i was confused earlier .... go figure things hadn't been cleared up for me by this informative Nikon video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQPlPP6mWVA
I'm reserving judgement until I buy some used panties in a vending machine .... eat some live octopus tentacles in soy sauce ... locate a copy of
"fishermans wife 2.... the retentacling" for "mooshie night " and also locate that darn dl 18-50 ... so elusive .... so enticing .....oh , and drop a tab of acid..............or two
its kind of sweet on a human level ... and i genuinely hope those happy dancers have a job in 5 years
what ! you guys were watching the "Hercules rising "video instead? you might as well be staring off into space ,,,,, err never mind ,,,,,
I see you already dropped the acid :)
Beaverhelmet: Suppose it will have the sensor that's already been used in the A7R MkII, RX1 MkII and A99 MkII?
Maybe, but Sony sensors are better in Nikon cameras.
armandino: Do you hear the sound? That is the sound.... of the inevitability......
And Smith was wrong.
rz350: Note to Rishi. Don't upset the Sony fanboys. They want you to dump on Canon and Nikon. To say that Sony has put out a camera that doesn't focus better than the other brands is utter heresy. Sony fanboys have to justify their choices. Having read these forums for far too long I have seen othere cameras flogged for having poor af and other users of those cameras rushing to the defence of said cameras. Like I said, fanboys must justify their purchases. After all, it isn't about the results, it is the equipment that you use that makes the difference between a sucessful photographer and an unsucessful photographer.
Obviously, everybody doesn't know that ;)

Yes, but Sony fanboys frequently seem to be the most numerous, loudest bunch of whiners. Even when the evidence is presented.
Don't know why camera didn't show up in exif. Taken with D800E.
