That was fun to see a reference to TAFKAP. If that was the intention ;)

dspoel: This is a message to all youtubers. Can you please post the next movie without silly meaningless background music? How about attaching a microphone to your camera instead? Nice images though.

Still better than a poor Vivaldi copy...

Nice mountains. Too bad they chopped down the forest to make way for houses and grassland.

Looks-like road-worn camera's will be the next big fashion thing, just like in the guitar world. You can buy brand-new guitars that are damaged on purpose to make it look like they have been on the road for decades. LOL.

rraniga: Sold at least a few thousand of them during the mid-70s -mid-80s during Dutyfree heydays of Fiji,s tourist boom. The Pentax K1000 probably sold more along with Canon Canon AE1 which sold faster than we get them. Most were sold a package along with a flash and or a wide /tele zoom lens

Still have my K1000 that I bought second hand in the early 1980s. For all I know it still works fine, with the 50/f1.7 lens :)

dspoel: They should make the X100 smaller but with APS-C sensor, right now it is almost as large as a full frame mirrorless likon Nikon Z.

They probably had a bunch of unsold iPhone 6/7 lying around in which they disabled the phone part :)

The kind of controls we had for graphics workstations in the 1990s returning after all those years. Maybe the old patents ran out, LOL.

stevo23: Aperture is a fabulous program. To compare the new program to it is just silly - it clearly isn't trying to replace Aperture. We can't even take this idea seriously.

Apple could compete - but they chose not to. Apple spends LEAST of its income (a few %) on R&D in the industry.

Going down the Leica lane. In other words, Nikon are doomed.

People here always complain about Leica prices. But at least these cameras are not made in sweatshops under slave-like circumstances.
