24F14GM: Pleeeeease, DPR, you are the reference journal for photographers (at least for amateurs like me). Pleeeeease stop relaying big GAFApple advertisement that there latest cellphone is in fact a top-notch camera, as well as a waching machine and an AI personnal assistant and a screw driver. Please, please, please. This gives not your journal a good image (litteraly)
Is that even english ? Even google cannot parse your message
Very discrete: how to make an apple watch looks like a hand-cuff, or restrain-order beacon ^^
Lol, you still need a $4k subscription to use the app "with a compatible camera" ^^ excellent marketing ^^
Looks good, and photos are ok. It will hardly beat the Pro 2 and its fantastic 1" Haselblad lens. PS: not sure the test photos are FAA legal ^^

Great! now I can use an x2 multiplier with an e to a and a to e adapter for my 70-200 F4 ... L
Specs are staggering! just like the price :(
GRUBERND: thinks there are way to little mentions of tripods.
Few realize a tripod can not only reduce shake but also remember your last thought and hold that thought - pun intended - for an unlimited amount of time.
Also a good tripod will outlast every camera, lens or other tool.
@entoman, I can do that without a tripod
@gruwhatever, practice yoga instead

Tripods are totally overrated, or perhaps just in case one want to ***try*** taking a picture with a smartphone. Carrying one is like having an umbrella on a sunny day. Most modern cameras and lenses have builtin stabilisation, leaving the photographer to find the right aperture in 99% cases. As for the rest, night photography ? The milky way ? Use a table or the ground. I got a 3rd price for a green filter + tree + moon shot handheld with a Mamyia + 35mm F4 ^^
At the age of 18 and my first internship money in the pocket, was born 40 years ago as an amateur photographer with the Mamiya ZM, the first semi electronic reflex of its kind. Great tool to get (expensive) pictures right. Won several prices, but who cares. Then as the digital area started (well, it had started for a while) I tried various, small, pocket-size cameras like the Canon Ixus and several Panasonic/leica (great lenses) for fun until I invested a lucky jackpot into the Sony A7R2 and then the superb 24mm GM. It doesn't fit in my pocket anymore, but is rarely more than an arm away. Right, I'm a professional amateur for live ^^
Leica's marketing for the masses ... of super rich ready to buy cheaply engineered lenses
That's f*antastic! and look: there are even three handles for portability by either two heavy weight champions, and the tripod is included for use on solid concrete ground! And it is self stabilized, as you cannot move it (without excessive force)! Look no further, that's a deal breaker!
Haha, looks just like a mavic, just a different (and ugly) color. Now Autel is plagiarizing DJI, that's so funny, but also the curse of success. Mavic Pro 2 is just fantastic not just by the Haselblad lens, but by the experience and intuition put in its UI. I wonder if Autel provides a DJI Go clone as well. What don't they put an 100MP cellphone sensor on it, that would make it even lighter and smaller, a cellphone on wheels ^^
Astro Landscapes: Ah, the high school popularity contest.
Having said that, the Sony 135 is indeed quite a feat of engineering. It's one of the very few lenses that breaks all the stereotypes about how mirrorless can't be lighter and smaller than a DSLR counterpart, especially at longer, faster focal lengths.
I concur, Sony's 24mm/f1.4 is just awesome, light (lighter than an F4 zoom^^) and absolutely crisp in every angle of the frame
Oooooooooh, my god, how could they do soething uglier than the i11 itself!!!!! that's despicable, you would be ashamed to make a selfie with that "thing"! Blurb!
Imho Sony should really work out a much better affordable lense than the ugly 16-50 it sells the 6100 with. This is an uterly old model that vignettes up to 35mm focal with despicable artifacts all around the center spot. That said, the 6100 is a great improvement over previous models.
Essentially, the new iPhone has an added large-for everyone-to-see UV filter on top of each tiny lense. Not much of an improvement, nor re. sensor quality below premium. Plus google software tops what the "photo" ap can do in terms of signal processing.
It looks totally hidious from the camera side, as if you would be photographed by a fly, terrible
createrio: Silver version to follow, codenamed Skywalker. Evaluating a golden one, codenamed 3PO.
I'm sorry, but I disagree, the first limited edition should definitely be the tactical urban camo one, with a red dot, and the camo strap and pants, and a ferrari shirt, and a big gold watch with the red dot, just to be better looking.
So, essentially, it consumes energy in-real-time ? What a great idea :) Fortunately they don't seal it for my A7R2 ^^
