Congrats! I'm sure you'll love it. I think the lenses you have are perfect for it and will really let it shine.

I find the M6ii so much more responsive than the M50, also face detect AF and tracking in general are so much more sticky. Really happy I could grab one for the price I paid, I have no regrets of ...

Yes this helps, thanks a lot!
-
Well, it's not a huge deal, just sometimes when tracking action or small kids I find myself holding the AF active for a longer period of time and thought that if this setup is possible it could be ...
-
The M50 allows for a button to be set for AF/MF toggling, but it seems that this isn't available on the M6ii since it has the AF toggle control.
-
Thanks for the clarification, I guess you could say I would like to be able to toggle C-AF on and then off with the back button. Have you found a way to do this or is the only option to keep the ...
-
Thanks for your reply. I'm wondering if it's possible to just press it once and then have the AF active, so I don't have to hold it down the whole time, and then press again to stop AF. I don't ...

Is there a way to start continuous AF with the back button with a single press and release or is the only way to hold it down as long as I want it active? I would like to be able to press+release ...

I designed and 3D printed a small stick on grip for mine (similar to the ones from Flipbac), if you have access to a printer I can send you the CAD model if you'd like.

Having also just recently bought one, I still haven't figured out all the tricks or tried all the options but there are so many small things which are improved over my old M50 which I didn't ...

I'm still not perfectly clear on how this works, since when I plug in an M100 and open the lens correction profile utility it shows the window I posted earlier, with an option of up to 40 but a ...

I got the M6ii for around €620 and I see a nice used EVF-DC2 on ebay for €100, nice deal but I'll use it like this for a bit before I decide if I really miss it. Well that's another story....and I ...
-
I thought that for sure this would be expanded for their top M model but no such thing which is a shame. Otherwise I'm quite satisfied with the M6ii, much more responsive and better tracking than ...
-
I think you misunderstood. I meant lens profiles (not picture profile presets) but thanks for the tip, that's a nice option to have which I didn't realize.
-
This is a screenshot from the lens registration utility - you can see at the bottom that it allows up to 40. Now this page looks a little different than the one for registering lenses on the M50 ...

I know, and I do apply them using DPP when needed but sometimes it's good to have the option right on camera. Just strange that older cameras like the M100 and M could hold many more than the ...
-
As the title states, is this possible? My M50 only allows 3 at once and I thought the reason was because it was considered and marketed as a beginner's camera but on my new M6ii I can also only ...
-
You're right, I've been on the lookout for some good used deals but there isn't much available for less than €750.

Yes actually just high ISO noise. As far as I can understand the base ISO noise of the M6ii is either the same or better than the RP Yes correct. I think you're correct here too since we're just ...
