I believe B&H will lose this one.

I'm not a tax specialist or accountant, but it seems like it comes down to whether these discounts are reimbursed by the manufacturer to B&H. When a manufacturer like Canon reduces the price of an item (and brick & mortar stores match), are there any reimbursements involved? I would assume not, but someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

TheGrammarFairy: A US military agency has hired someone at California's most important state university and the world's biggest imaging company to do what? Identify people who don't want to be identified? Use overwhelming computer power and untethered autonomous software to Invade the privacy of anyone who posts a picture on the internet.
But there you go. Once upon a time UC Berkeley was a beacon of integrity, now, like The University of Houston there's no low to which they will not stoop if the money's right.

I can see how this application can be used to identify and defend against deep fakes, which themselves have the potential to skew public opinion and be weaponized to destabilize institutions. I'm guessing Nat Geo would want to use this technology to detect edited images in their photo features too.

Mark Zed: 43" monitor!!! I love large monitors, ever since having 2x20" Trinitron screen apple displays was a "wow dude, so extreme!" thing.
but 43" is actually just 2 inches short of my lounge room TV (disclaimer I live in a very small, sub 40sqm, apartment and that's plenty big given a 3 meter viewing distance)

@EskeRahn, does your 43" IPS have burn-in issues?

frisbfreek: Amazing. Only 1 question: did Sony add weather sealing to the bottom of the camera?

Haha I'm fine playing the waiting game for a little longer. :) Or at least until reviews of the A7iii come out!

My current camera (Canon 60D) isn't exactly weather sealed either, but seeing that I'm looking to do a lot more landscape/nature photography, I was hoping for something a bit more resilient to the elements from Sony. Too bad all of the other specs are a great fit!
