Thank you for this.  But I'm going to try Shadowfixer's suggestion (below) because they allow me to quickly reinstate the arrow keys if I want to shift the focus point with them. Michael

Thank you, Shadowfixer. I see that once I've done that if I want to use the arrow keys I just have to touch the focus point on the screen and the arrow keys become active again until I push the OK ...
