I am addicted to cameras (no make or model is safe), and with DSLRs and CSCs being found for such a low price (if you are willing to wait for deals), my G.A.S and L.B.A. are always in high gear. Favorites over the years have been the Olympus Four-Thirds E-series (wish they didn't kill FT off), Pentax (been on film or digital with Pentax since the 1980's), Samsung NX (I realize that probably lowers my rep right there, but these were/are wonderful cameras that I wish will still being developed), and Panasonic Micro Four-Thirds (in particular the small bodies: GM/GX). I have a fine love of the quirky... that means cameras like the K-01, NX-series, Sigma DP-series, and the oddball Yi M1 have all trickled into my collection and workflow at one point or another. I'm sure I'll change again as sensors and technologies continue to improve.
My primary target is still life (landscapes mostly), so I could care less about about FPS, lightning fast auto-focus, or what camera is "better" than my camera (every camera is "better" than what's in my fleet if you ask the "pros"). I use what works for me, and what is "fun" to use. I get good shots (more routinely over the years as my skills have improved). I find I like manually focusing more and more now. I enjoy the process.
I ramble when it comes to photography (as you can see). I love the hobby, and it shows. Use what you like. Don't judge others for what they like. Be happy, and remember it's not the camera... it's what's behind it having fun.
