+1. I went to Andalucia (Malaga, Seville, Granada etc.) with just the 14 and 23 and the vast majority of my shots were on the 14. Given your available lenses, I agree with other comments that the ...

Am I missing something here... If only 23 Leica 0 prototypes were made why is the camera number 105? Did they go on to make at least 82 more that were not prototypes? Or perhaps they started...

The front grip of my XE3 became unstuck so I emailed Fuji UK. They asked me to send them a photo of the problem and a new grip arrived in the post a couple of days later. No charge. I suggest you ...

Looking at the Swedish X-E3 user manual (page 235) (according to Google translate): Prest. : AF (speed) = fast, LCD/EVF image quality = very high In other words that is the High perfromance mode.

I can select High Performance mode on my X-E3 regardless of the battery I use. Am I missing something here - but surely you have two options "Prest." and "Standard" i.e. as on the X-E3 English ...

Great post you have written about the E-1. I've had mine from new - got a good deal at the time as Olympus were giving a 50% discount for the complete kit for educational use. If it was not so ...

Olympus E-1 with 14-54 zoom. I still have it and it gets an airing now and again for nostalgic reasons. Built like a tank and just about as heavy with the battery grip attached, but operates like a ...

Me too. I bought a Micro-NIKKOR 55mm f/3.5 and an adapter and that would not focus to infinity. Worked fine on my brother's Nikon FM though. So I bought another adapter - still no joy. I guess the ...

I love my 27 (I have the MK1 version). Analysing all photos taken on my Fujis over the years, the number taken with the 27 exceeds those taken with all other lenses in total by a ratio of just over ...

Just to follow up (2). My travel/walkaround kit is similar to the one above: X-E3 + 16/27/50 or sometimes the 23 (f2) instead the 27 - just depends on where I'm going and what I'm doing.

Its easy to fix that on some lenses - those that have bolts/screws on the focusing ring. I fixed my TT 35mm f1.4 following the instructions I found below. https://yukosteel.wordpress.com/2018/06/14 ...

If this helps - the tape Fuji sent to me was marked "DIC DAITAC" in orange letters. (NB: what I received was pre-cut to match the shape of the grip with cutouts for where various screws ...

This has happened to me too on my X-E3 - on the front at the hand-grip end. I live in the UK so hardly suffering from high temperature and humidity. I contacted Fuji and they asked me to send a ...

Great photos - thanks for sharing. I live near there so already have plenty of colour JPGs of the trains and of New Alresford and along the river Itchen valley (nice scenery). Next time I go there ...

Me too. I carry my XP1 in a snug fitting camera pouch hanging over my shoulder and I found that I kept getting random blank shots. Took the soft release off and no further blank shots so they must ...

I choose between the following, depending on where I am going and what I will doing once there: 14 f2.8, 23 f2, 50 f2 16 f2.8, 27 f2.8, 50 f2 Saying that I often just take two lenses - as above but ...

Like the photos and the 'look' from that lens. Got me thinking as I am considering getting a small manual focus (not focus by wire) lens for my X-Pro 1. Are you using the M-mount version as the ...
