Placed 1^st in the challenge. In Budapest, Hungary, at Móricz Zsigmond körtér. The photo was taken shortly before dawn on a winter morning.

This is not a kaleidoscopic picture in any way - instead, it is a stereographic projection of a full spherical panoramic picture taken at the center of the intersection of the two main hallways in the Leadenhall Market. You can see the (almost) symmetric views down each hallway. The pattern on the outside is from the window (skylight) on the ceiling above me as I took the photos.

Nice image, but the city definitely looks like Florence, and the river is the Arno. The Po is further north in Italy.

This is not the Hungarian Parliament, but rather the Buda Castle (now a museum, among other things) and Matthias Church on Castle Hill in Budapest.
