New owners seem very happy. Some of them have written very detailed explanations about their first impresions.

Really a I think there's something weird with the Studio scene samples quality compared with other samples you can find elsewhere.

Su Sun: Some people believe this camera could serve well as the all-in-one travel camera, but the IQ just doesn't make it a good primary camera. I rather consider it a pocketable complement to an ILC. 24-70 attached and no time to change lens for more range? ZS100 to the rescue. 70-200 attached but want wider? ZS100 to the rescue again. A secondary ILC body would always do a better job but when I just don't want two big cameras dangling around the ZS100 is the ultimate secondary camera.
I hope Sony could respond to this and develop its own superzoom RX100. The 2470 range on the RX100M3/M4 has always been a major barrier for me to upgrade from the M1. I wonder how much better a lens Sony could build by sacrificing a little bit of reach (say 24-200 instead of 25-250).

Looking at these shots ZS100 IQ looks much better than in the Studio Scene here. Maybe we need more samples to get a reliable comparison.
