I've got it I thing somewhere around 1976 as a kid. We were constantly low on $$$, so all I could afford were B&W films, which we used to develop and and expose on photopaper ourselves. No money for colour chemistry.

Years later we managed scramble the cache for "ZENIT TTL" - our first half decent camera with semiconductor exposure sensor:

I used to have the same Smena 8 and Zenit TTL -during late 70's early 80's- which i trade them some years later for the Zenit 12XP, which i still own and use from time to time, and still get great images (portraits together with the HELIOS 2.0 Lens)

spbStan: These situations come up all the time and seldom do they result in lawsuits because the victim is poor.
The fact that a bad cop very rarely gets fired and when they do, they can find another job in minutes because there is no penalty for being a bad cop. When a department has a number of these settlements it usually speaks more about the culture within that department allowed to develop by upper management. Bad cops move on leaving the victims and community to pay for it for a long time. It would make more sense to have all police covered by personal and professional liability insurance as a condition of employment. This way, the repeat offenders will be weeded out by the marketplace. When the cop can't afford his insurance anymore it is only right that he find another profession.
If an a cop is bad, defenders reply, "one bad apple does not reflect on the majority f good cops" and are dead wrong. When no one will turn in bad cops or testify against them, why call them good cops?

Totally agree with you and most of the times those bad cops represent the main line headquarters operate

And Nikon is diversifying into gourmet fast food, and McDonald's is about to release a prototype of its first high-end DSLR, and .....

A Good One 😄 !!!!

Hello Menneisyys it's been a long time, how are you doing ???😀
Well as usual i have to disagree with you, in order to be able to load Hackintosh you'll need to build a desktop with the same processor sound card and graphic card if not motherboard, so there it goes for the kick-ass desktop.

Wouldn't be easier to buy a Macbook Pro or even better an iMac, that runs OS X like water under the bridge?

However most people in this page think of the opposite, that looks like a copy even the title itself .

No my Friend "that exclusive and elusive macbook pro design" is the single aluminum unibody-construction with high-gloss screen, covered by an edge-to-edge reflective glass finish, equipped with an anti-glare matte coating. And the buttonless Multi-touch capabilities,(that first introduced with the MacBook Air) trackpad
But what make the difference is the OS MBP is "running".

RStyga: Very strong photos, as always. Sometimes it invites the question about photojournalism ethics: where do you stop shooting; I'm not referring to the winning photo necessarily.
Also, in photo 3, "Migrant Crossing", the repeated use of the name "Macedonia", instead of FYROM, is an assault in itself to historical truth, and it's deeply insulting to the Hellenic (aka Greek) culture and its people.

RStyga
The real problem is not DPR, actually DPR is reposting the whole article taken from the World Press Photo Foundation that is based on Amsterdam (if that rings any bell).
As for the Monkeydonia is the useful idiot and the naming dispute will work as a pressure lever in a future demand (from the Great Powers, whatever the demand might be) (divide and conquer)
