Stumbled over this thread whilst searching for a review on unfade.
Though most here prefer a scanner, there is at least one purpose where probably this tool might be handy: when old photos are firmly glued into photo-albums...
No way to get them out there...
One day they may add a (very) small zoom (say 3x) to this, so to get things just a little closer. Same goes voor some other APS-C compact though, like the Coolpix A.
